A community centre with a barbershop and computer room is being built in Nkuyu to finance the solar power system and support the school. This means a new lease of life for the entire village.
Greening the Liwiro Secondary School
The schoolyard of Liwiro Secondary School is being greened: trees, plants and gravel paths provide shade and prevent dust and mud, so that pupils can enjoy their breaks more and learn in better conditions.
